Not only are they the easiest to use thanks to their twist lid dispenser, but they are also the easiest for me to give my daughter and family as they are small and choke hazard friendly as well as delicious!
We are now stocking some of my favourite and must-have remedies.
See below for brief descriptions of what I use them for.
Sinus complex:
Great for any sinus-related symptoms such as congestion, nasal dripping, pain and inflammation (think head colds and even hay fever-type symptoms). This is a great one to have throughout the winter and allergy months.
Hay fever:
Anyone who suffers from hay fever knows the feeling of ‘just wanting some relief’! I personally use this remedy as well as sinus complex to help combat the nagging and sometimes debilitating symptoms of hay fever.
Teething complex:
For those unhappy, grizzly, clingy koala babies who are having a hard time cutting their teeth. This is a parent’s essential.
Arnica:
This is a remedy I am always recommending and is always good to have on hand. It helps with bruising, acute bumps/cuts and inflammation. I also recommend and personally use this remedy after any surgery or procedures such as dental work.
Nux Vomica:
A great remedy for nausea and an upset stomach especially after overindulging. This is also a great remedy to help reset the body clock after shift work or jet lag from travel.
Chamomilla:
Another must-have for parents. This remedy is often used for symptoms associated with teething (the clingy, upset baby/child), colic, dry tickly coughs, restlessness, cranky child and those sensitive to pain.
Anytime my daughter is having a hard time with any growth/teething/transitions and she becomes more sensitive/clingy and teary, this is the remedy I go for.
Belladonna:
Great for quick onset inflammatory symptoms such as teething (think the baby who presents with bright red flushed cheeks and is clearly in pain and very unhappy). Also great for acute onset earaches. This can also be helpful for other acute inflammatory symptoms associated with colds, cases of flu, toothache and mastitis.
Aconite:
Great for those symptoms that come on suddenly such as flus, fevers, vomiting, earache, dry short hacking coughs. This is a great one for those symptoms that come on as if from nowhere and always in the middle of the night!
I also love this one to help relieve dry, irritated, gritty eyes.
